Strife is the order of life.
Heraclitus Pt. 1:
δίκη á¼”Ïις.
τὰ ὅλα ῥεῖ.
strife is the order of life ["dhÃe-kie-È-ries"]
the whole (of strifes) flows ["da (h-)Ã’-la RIE"]
People usually translate δίκη into "justice", BUT that is its secondary
meaning !! Its first meaning is "normal course of the Cosmos",
"normal state of being" !! From this the idea of "justice" is derived >>
if someone is wronged the normal course to right it, to restore the
Cosmos ("decoration" > ordering/order) is punishment, penance or
the paying of a fine.
dh = as in "to breathe" / ie = short "ee"/ r = tong-tip-r /
a = as in Dutch, French, German, Ivrit, &c..
