She's smiling again

At the age of 10,
She was a shy little girl,
At school they were bullying her,
She just had a few friends.

At the age of 11,
Her neighbor sexual abused her,
She didn't told anyone,
Was sick often and very quiet.

At the age of 12,
The truth came out,
Her parents started a lawsuit, but lost.
She started smoking and drinking.

At the age of 13,
She started smoking weed and hang out on the streets,
She drank many alcohol and started cutting her body,
Her first suicide attempt didn't succeed.

At the age of 14,
She was completely lost,
Therapists and psychiatrists believed her lies,
She told herself she wouldn't live at the end of the year

At the age of 15,
Her father got cancer,
He died within 2 months,
She couldn't handle the death of her hero.

At the age of 16,
She had a lot of fights at home,
But met a boy who was sweet,
She thought he could make her happy.

At the age of 17,
She felt a little better,
Until the boy got anorexic and depressed,
She continued her suicide attempts.

At the age of 18,
She moved out of house,
Things got worse and she went to a psychiatric hospital,
The boy cheated and dumped her.

At the age of 18,5,
She felt better than ever and the fights stopped,
She hadn't cut or attempted suicide for six months,
She's making plans for the future now.
