The moon

The cold of the window touches my hands
The warmth of the house, slowly bends and breaks away
Like the lights in the sky
Waiting for the stars to appear one by one
All shining on the moon
And it’s moments like these, that I feel alone..

Cause i’m like the moon,
floating around to see
I feel alone even with the stars around me
wanted to escape but couldn’t find the strength
cause everybody expected her to be there

Just look at the night, when the stars are brave enough to shine
In the black clear sky, but why do they only shine
when the sun is gone and took the lights away
I can see what they mean cause i’m like a star at daylight
