Life is a gamble
My parents tell me to be smart,
because life is a game and I need to be the highest card.
They give me all their advice.
But if life is really a game shouldn’t I be the one who roles the dice?
Gambling, take a guess.
Choosing for a way to get out this mess.
If I could gamble for love, happiness or luck.
Then nothing could hold me down, then I wouldn’t be stuck.
If life was a gamble, I would win the jackpot.
If I was that lucky only once, that would change a lot.
If I had unlimited love for me just to take…
Love in her purest from, not just one you could fake.
Happiness without control.
I would love it, I want it all.
Gambling is getting and giving away.
But I have to do it if I want to win that jackpot one day.
I want that love, luck and happiness.
For once, I don’t want to settle for less…
But if you gamble, you have a chance that you lose.
So before I will pick one, I’m so afraid to choose.
