The best?
I felt strong, I felt good. I always had that winning mood.
Nothing could beat me, I was the best. They always told me I had a gift, that I was truly blessed.
Fast, strong, funny above all. All I did was crawl.
My mommy told me I was her champion and her best companion.
I was her best friend and her light in the dark. Her hope, her little spark.
When I got older, death called her. He took her away from me, now nobody told me how good I was or had to be…
Then I knew I had to battle the real threat. The people who I never met.
The people my mommy kept away from me. I didn’t feel strong, I wanted to flee…
I wasn’t ready, I couldn’t do it and i knew that from the begin.
I wasn’t the best and in this world… I would never fit in…
My mom protected me from this truth… She gave me what every kid gets, a clean and spoiled youth.
I searched for my mother, whom I couldn’t find. My mother, to hide behind
