Regret
Your eyes are like an untamed sea,
they push and pull me over,
squeezing the air out of my lungs,
filled with the tempered, blunt sound of passion,
only to throw me again,
onto the roughness of reality.
But I want to swim.
Your eyes are like a ruthless ocean,
dark, endless and without escape,
mysteriously locking the great black deep
of your unreachable soul.
But I want to drown.
And sink into the quiet of your deep
discovering every drop
touching every spec
feeling every current,
that takes me deeper into the inevitable you.
Merciless.
And as I grasp for air,
before my light dies out hissing,
I whisper your name,
Without regret.
