As Earth and Sun

As the Earth revolves around the Sun,
So has it begun.
My life of eternal devotion,
to you, through orbital motion.
Never shall I part again,
nor shall I leave when,
you burst into flames,
or if you fade away
cold as a shiver.
I shall rest here,
waiting to be engulfed
by your flames of creation.
