A good heart

at the end of the street
there sits a man with no name
a sleeping bag and a box was all he owned
but he feels no shame

it began to rain
I quickly ran to there
gave him a raincoat
and dry clothes to wear

he said thanks
but please do not worry
I said I have not much but you have nothing
he looked at me, well boy I'll tell you a story

I may not have a fancy car or a big house
and no wardrobe full of clothes to wear
but my dear boy, and he pointed to the stars
do you really think that that will matter up there
we all go to heaven
where the angels sing
and there will even my old clothes
be worthy for a king
and when I go to heaven
I am no longer homeless anymore
because there will be my cardboard box
a beautiful house with roof and door
