Travelling truths
Travelling truths
In search of truth,
my wanderings lead
to the strangest places
Distraction became attraction
Friendship a curse
Wearing cloudy glasses ,
to narrow the infinite skies
didnt stop the crying moon
that followed my trail
A small village crossed my rainbow path
Within communication was difficult.
They spoke flat spanish words,
sounding like...
somebody is sanding wooden heads
Haggling for directions to a resting place,
filled my pockets with stale perfumed coins
It showed me the fastest way leading away
The Inn offered a smell but no food or drink
But the luscious bed of nails shouted its invitation
Soon i was sleeping like a baby pooping its diaper
Morning brought a delicious putrid smelling diner...
Tasteful creamy maggots served in velvet
crusted breadcrumbs.
Belching this delicious meal, i burped and slurped
Lovingly i cursed them a happy farewell
Then followed my personal guiding star
