Still in Love

Full moon high in the dark blue sky
Sitting on the balcony
We share a smile
All our cards are out
Thinking of our intimate moments again
Better than the past has been
Now I’m hungry
Hungry for everything
Hungry for more
Hungry for you

I remember we were on the same train
I remember Paris again
You followed me on my way
We were following the same track
As the train rolls on that day
We fell in love with no way back
Thinking of all those hotel rooms
Where we shared the same view
Hungry for anything
Hungry for more
Hungry for you

We fell in love
We felt intertwined
Found all the things we've left behind
All the stories we write of our life
I’m still in love
Like I always imagined I would

We felt intertwined
Found all the things we've left behind
All the stories we write of our life
I’m still in love
Like I always imagined I could

I love our future conversations
About kids and travel plans
Moving to New Zealand
Still looking for a piece of land
I already feel so old
I'm turning Thirty-five
Need our own life
We joked
We need our own space
I know

And as we building
Our planning trips begin
In the thirty
So we don’t care
Will it be a lighthouse or an Airbnb
Together we love the mysteries
The secrets held inside of the white cliffs of - Of where?
It doesn't matter where

We fell in love
We felt intertwined
Found all the things we've left behind
All the stories we write of our life
I’m still in love
Like I always imagined I could
