I Lost my way
When I was young, You held my hand
Guided me across, this shifting sand
Kept me warm, through the icy nights
Showed me hope, in the dimmest lights
You lit the dark, with Your gentle glow
A Love so pure, I'll always know
You were the calm, within my storm
The gentle fire, that kept me warm
But I lost the map, to where You are
I chased the dreams, that pulled me to far
Now it's hard, to hear Your voice
In the noise of life, and the endless choice
Now I stumble, I’ve lost my way
The world is so loud, it pulls and sways
My heart yearns, to find Your light
Lead me out, of this shadowed night
Help me to see, what is true
Oh my God, I’m reaching out for You
Owe God, I'm tired, I can't do it anymore
The road’s rugged, my feets are sore
Through shadowed nights, and in days unclear
I pause to feel, that You are near
A spark, a sign, a quiet breeze
Grant me strength, upon my knees
For You I will fight, through the chaos and the fear
Through every doubt, until You're near
For every road, leads back to You
A steady path, to the Love so true
And though it's hard, to hear Your voice
I'll push through the world, and its deafening noise
My heart will find its way to Your Light,…
My dear God guide me back home from this shadowed night,…
