Resistance

Magnified absurdity wrapped in layers of modernism .
As parrots screetch their copied words
In a cacophony of hollow phrases

Amidst this concert of meaningless words
A dark sinister presence emerges
With wings that effortlessly lift him up

Soon the chorus of countless voices
spreads on the wings of intended harm
The entity views its victims with sated glee

An unstoppable force
that seeps into reality
Like water into marble

Only sharp eyes and vigilance
Stood tall amids this onslaught
their voices weak and suffocated

But like a little seed
resistance was planted
Would it proliferate
As time took its usual stride
