Crossroads
I stood at the crossroads
With my heart in hand
Right ain’t always easy
But do you understand?
That between what’s right
And what’s truly best
We find a riddle of silence?
Choices we make
Shadows in the night
Chasing the way
But which one’s right
Pay the price
No matter the cost
In this maze of morals
We sometimes feel lost
Right or best which way to go
Price of decision only we know
Heart says one thing, head says another
A constant tug, from one to the other
Seeking truth in the eye of the storm
In heartbeats, decisions are born
Pay the toll for the bridge we cross
Measure the gain against the loss
In a world where gray often blends
At every turn another choice bends
Heart says one thing
But our head says another
A constant tug
From one to the other
We pay the price
No matter the cost
In this maze of morals
We sometimes feel lost
