In the desert

In the desert I walk alone
Walking through it’s silent breath
The sand feels like a hot stone
Looking in the sea of my own depth
Where choices linger like shadows on sand
And hunger for love's guiding hand

Empty dunes and endless skies
Lost in thoughts where truth lies

Not afraid of what I find

Mirrors show what I've become
And with the rising sun
