Joy of life

I love to write poems of my life
Some with heavy heart and some bold
They contain more emotion
More than my voice could hold
When I put my words on paper
All my stories becomes unfold
In the silence of my heart
Where my truth is told

Each story turns the tide
Found the courage deep inside
One decision and my life changed
Yes! one decision made that change
Because I try

I find joy in little things of life
It can make me feel so alive
Like simple songs and tunes
Where the melody of my life blooms
I also read my old life books
To let my mind fly
Through the learning moments
Where my tears and joy lie

No matter the struggle or the pain
Life's little joys are what remain
In tears and laughter both contain
A streak of sunlight through the rain
Every choice builds up the walls
Brick by brick it’s built so tall

Taking lovely walks
Through wooded lanes
Even when I'm drenched
By the heavy rains
The joy of life’s beauty always remains
Rise above and take the reins
Feel the joy replace the pains
