LIFE IS A BOOK

Every life is like a book you see
Some chapters contain pain and make me cry
And Some chapters make me laugh or contain a mystery
Every day a new page turns open wide
I’m writing my own story, let it be my guide
The heavy lines can make me feel so small
But I know, after rain sunshine conquers all

I know, some pages can bring a smile
While others make me to swallow and sigh
But I have to walk or run this mile
Some moments go slowly while others fly
Sometimes pages turn the ink may start to blur
So I save my heart from worries as they stir
Each precious day a gift for me to hold
And embrace the tale that's waiting to unfold

My life is like a book, sometimes chapters twist
Moments I savor, moments I missed
I keep on writing through the highs and lows
In my heart I feel the melody’s that grows
So I just be myself and not playing to be smart
Yes, hard days are in it and are just a part
But these days make the sun shine bright
I might hide my insecurity but forward is the light

Every word is a piece of who I are
Sometimes in my story I can be a superstar
So I save my heart, let my worries go
Sometimes my story contain a “I don't know”
But with each small or large step I take
Always a new dawn will break
Yes, sometimes with joy and sometimes with heartache
But you know, life’s a journey make no mistake

I turn, turn, turn the page
I ‘am not staying locked inside a cage
Move and move, feel the life at every stage
Feel my story through every phase and age
Writing my own story and let it fly
Through the clouds and across the blue sky
I know that after rain the rainbow comes to play
So I save my heart and enjoy every precious day
