I watched the rainbow fall
My hands were cold and shivering
The sky full of colours
I watched the rainbow fall
I wondered if there were others
Something like the life of the party
Love was the quest of honour
Never I would believe in that
Nothing left but the cheerful reason of the wonder
I felt the thumping of my heart
So self-aware I hadn’t been in years
Looking across the room but there was no-one
Suddenly having to overcome one of my fears
Like a little light across the ocean
The lighthouse was shining brighter than ever
The colours in the sky were changing
Something strange was happening to the weather
Was I indoors or outdoors in this moment
The stillness of my soul whispered to me
Lost but found and never broken
A tumulus to carry free
Nothing makes sense to this blessed prayer
For nothing has ever made sense at all
Lightness brings darkness that brings lightness again
I watched the rainbow fall
