Lost in clarity.
Depression is like drowning when people around you are still breathing.
Every day still dreaming.
Hoping the night will catch my cry’s.
Tears fall down my heart.
The life in my head that I want is a lie.
How can I be lost in clarity?
When everything is crystal clear?
Let me just take another hot shower.
At least they catch my tears.
Only when my skin almost burns away,
Then I finally feel warmth.
Only left with a fucked up mind and broken bones.
A heart with cell bars that can’t hold a soul.
Nothing wrong, yet I feel all the pain.
Don’t worry for my silent cries,
You can’t hear them anyway.
Because when it comes to live and death, it’s just me and the night.
I can write a millions poems about it,
But you will still not understand,
What being lost in clarity,
Can do with your head.

"Because when it comes to live and death, it’s just me and the night" Vind ik een erg mooi zinnetje! De rest van het gedicht is trouwens ook weer prachtig en jammer genoeg erg herkenbaar op het moment. Je weet me te vinden als je erover wilt praten! xxlisanne
