Frozen dance
See a dance frozen in time,
Spinning and dancing,
Your head pressed against my chest,
Spinning and dancing, dancing and spinning,
In our frozen dance in time.
Through the darkness of this dance,
I see a small beacon of light,
Knowing in my heart this was the sun,
Slow but steady I feel it's warmth,
Slowly melting our frozen dance in time.
Crying and screaming to the sun,
Please go away,
Please don't wake me,
And make my frozen dance go away,
Let me dance and spin in this frozen dance.
Yet the sun keeps coming,
Inch by inch,
Rising higher and higher,
Melting away this frozen dance, That I have danced with you for so long.
Again, I cry and shout out,
Please go away,
My hands are slipping,
I can't hold on,
The sound of her breath is fading away,
Please sun go away.
The sun is now above me and you,
The dance floor disappeared,
Tell me sun, please tell me,
Why my frozen dance is no longer here?
I opened my eyes,
I started to smile,
It was just a dream,
Me and you,
In this frozen time, spinning and dancing, dancing and spinning.
Thank you for one more dance, One more dance with her,
And when I close my eyes tonight, Please let me dance again with her.
