If it ain't real, than what is? If you can't love me back, than who can? If it can't be, who will I be? If i look at you, all i can see is the future. realizing it is just an illusion, is the hardest feeling to bear Knowing I could love you till the end, and understanding it could never be. If I look to the present, all I see is you, me, and good memories. If i think about the past, it starts at the moment we met. Hoping for a change, finding out it goes all the wrong way. Disappointment and confusion is all there is left. Close to the heart, but out of reach. Feeling sad and lonely, even though you're still here. If I ain't got you, what's the point of hanging on? Wondering where I'll find the strength to let go. Always wondering what's on your mind. Am I even there? |
