Wings are used to fly away to safer places. They're hard to find in my heart there are no traces of feelings like those. I'd like to say that I'm okay now, but it's too hard to lie to you so I just keep my mouth shut and my eyes closed. I close them to keep the tears from falling and to keep my soul from seeing the true end of the hope that arose. I'll keep walking instead of flying to where I cannot be. I'll look for the horizon myself so I will again be able to see the beauty of the life I chose. |
