I think I’ll keep it shut
So that you can smile at me unknowing
This feeling I can’t cut

I doubt I know what’s right
And I doubt you know what’s wrong
Mistakes is all there’s made
The words clinging to my tongue

This world is just unjust
Our eyes too blinded to see
Words can cut through skin
Even in the mouth of iniquity
