Once upon a time there was this bird. She felt lost for a very long time. All she wanted was to be free and feel free. To get rid of all the hurt she felt inside. So she flew through the sky and over the hills. Through fields full of butterflies. Till she came to this beautiful paradise. She recognized some of her old home. The one she hadn’t see for a very long time. And there she met her new friends, who were so loving and kind. She felt overwhelmed by this fellowship. How she loved the things her new friends shared. The same desires, the same norms and standard of values. She could just bath herself in this love, because it felt so good. But on one sunny afternoon, god whispered in her ear. He said: “ Little birdie, what are you doing? Why do you neglect your responsibilities? Why you leave your hubby like that and don’t care for your young ones, the way you are supposed to do? “ But all she felt was that amazing energy. She only took a nap so she could fly freely again. And she only ate when the hunger could no longer be denied. She only nursed her feathers when all her new friends wouldn’t be around. But an angel came along and helped her to think this over. It was like an eye opener. She saw the reason why she was so hooked up to her new life. She saw what she had been missing all the time. She had lost her mother, lost her father. She didn’t saw her brothers, neither her sisters anymore. And she moved so many times from place to place, she wasn’t able to make new friends. Not able to fit in in this society, because her little heart had been hurt throughout the years. She just lost her way, searching to find some love again. So she thanked this caring angel, who made her believe again. Who made her love again and able to give. Who let her see she needed to take care of her responsibilities. Now she knew what to do. She went back to her other home. Took time to work things out. And she felt, she was no longer that lost bird anymore.. |
