I fight for you, my love
I will wait for you she said that day.
That day I was send away.
She waved at me, the moment I boarded that plane.
Knowing that after this mission nothing would be the same.
To my son she told "your dady is a hero, fighting for our land" .
"Im worried" she told one close friend.
It is dangerous to be out here.
Every moment constant fear.
Hiding behind our great wall,
Waiting for my beloved to call.
Waiting for her to write,
To encourages me in this fight.
To give me confidence,
That she would be there as soon as this mission ends.
Waiting all day,
Wondering if she is oke.
Waiting for a sign of love,
To get me trough this no matter how rough.
But instead of writing me, there is a man she would rather be.
She rather dates a guy working at a bank then praying for her man riding a tank.
She rather sees a man in a suit, than hoping her man has it good.
She prefers a future all set,
Then for her son to know his real dad.
I will wait for you, then I didn't know she lied...
I thought of her, the moment I died.
