Footprints in the snow

Everywhere I go
I’m looking for your face
Every night I pray for you
waiting for your embrace
But I’m getting tired
Because it seems like no one can hear me
All you left behind are footprints
Your footprints in the snow
Now there are only footprints
And I don’t even know
When you will come around
Come around once again
I know the snow will melt one day
And then your footprints fade
I don’t want this to be just a memory
Because memories are like footprints in the snow
They will fade
