The Eaters of Trust

every single soul on earth
starts life with a stock of trust
ment to give relations meaning
a deeper level, make them robust

but there's a tiny little creature
it nestles unnoticed in your heart
waiting right there in your stockroom
when trust is broken, it will start

start to eat each time it happens
a piece of trust out of your heart
and makes trusting and believing
to an almost impossible part

when your stock is nearly eaten
and your trust is allmost gone
it's difficult to approach you
and can't open up, to anyone

then you better search for something
to fight that thing that eats it up
it's to find right inside you
in the kernel of your heart

find the courage, to be open
more vulnerable, thats a must
and feel the trust it will bring
defeat that creature...., The Eater of Trust
