Painful memories

I know that the times have been hard
And I know that you want a new start
Let everything behind before we fall apart.

But I also know
That I can't let it go
The pain we've grown to know.

I can't forget the memories
All the things that happened
It makes me really worried.

Because I really don't want to lose you
And I even don't want you to hurt me
It feels like this can't be true

A love complicated as can be
But I don't want you to leave me
You're all that I need to feel alive
And all I need to bleed.
