Seeing Off
In the mountains we had seen each other off
toward day's end I shut my brushwood door
every year spring grass will be bright again
my best friend, will you likewise return or not ?!
In montibus alter altero vale dixeramus
extrema luce sarmineam ianuam claudo
in annos verna gramina reherbescunt
o rex amicorum, revenies pariter annon ?!
