I build my castle brick by brick
Walls meters thick
In this cave
I feel safe

I'm standing outside
Determined to turn the tide
The message brought by my dove
Is one of love

I won't let you in
Expensive will be my skin
I've been hurt before
Closed stays the door

Please open the gate
Believe in love, not hate

Stop knocking at my door
Many tried before

The walls are soaked with your tears
It's the warmth of my love they fear
The rock will crack and flake
And time is all it takes
To bring your fortress down
And go for the crown
