Our Golgotha
I’ve seen them all and even more,
the pale bleached bones,
even those of the children,
they didn't spare,
silently the hollow skulls were staring,
desecrated, empty and orphaned,
their teeth bare in fear
for what the flesh had promised,
for what has been I grieve,
never has tomorrow been so dead,
as in my dreams I cry
for the innocence and the red
of the blood they shed I pray
before the cross in agony.
