Happiness comes with a price
For every happy tear there is a sad one
When I’m happy I know sadness is lurking about
The heartbreak is sneaking behind the fun

In every happy moment is a subconscious feeling
Laughing on the outside and crying within
Knowing it won’t last long
It’s a terrible feeling

Brief moments before the rain starts falling
Happiness comes with a price
After sunshine always comes the rain
I’ve learned that much in live
