voces ad hic ascendunt

Translation: 白狐

* in full > e collibus prope sitis = "out of (from) nearby situated hills".

I don't have Natsume Sôseki's original in Japanese,
but I imagine it's something like --

chiká-oká kàra / umé-yamá-derá e/ni / nobóru kóe.
